Kyanite, 24k Gold & Sterling Silver Earrings

Beautiful shimmery blue Kyanite stones, set in sterling silver with 24k gold foil fused to the textured surface, in a process called "Keum Boo", which translates to "attached gold" - the piece is heated to 700-800 degrees F and the gold foil bonds instantly to the silver molecules, while being burnished to the surface of the piece.
